I often, more than I would like to see, have patients that when they attempt to get off benzodiazepine medications, have a horrific time of it.
They may be in agony. For months. Or longer. While attempting to get off these meds.
Being medically “addicted” to benzodiazapines is no joke. Often there is no warning ahead of time that this may be their possible journey.
I have found that if the patient “pre-loads” with magnesium with several carrier salts (threonate, taurate and glycinate) throughout the day in lower dosages, along 50 mg BID of zinc with any carrier salt, adding in high-doe N Acetyl Cysteine, can, in many patients, shorten their misery.
Oh, and yes, the addition of bioidentical hormones.
Why?
