My first boy friend is presently in hospice with Parkinson’s Disease (PD).
We have stayed life-long friends.
He named his daughter after me.
When he had a sabbatical from work his wife, whom I am also friend with, called to ask if I could take him for a while, as a house guest.
He went into hospice a few weeks ago.
He texted, “I’m in”.
He can no longer talk.
He hits the FACETIME on iPhone throughout the day so we can just look at each other.
Heart breaking.
