I remember when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. I asked my doctors does stress have anything to do with this?

All my docs laughed, clapped my shoulder, assuring me not to worry. Stress is just stress. No big shakes.

But that of course has not come to be the standard-of-care view point of the possible negative effects of toxic stress.

Especially early on in life. Before six years of age.

The “Family of Origin” is the earliest period of the phases of our lives.

When we are very young and at the mercy of our environment. And parents.

If these exposures are severely toxic, this is called adverse childhood experiences or (ACEs).

ACEs can effect health, especially hormones, all throughout life.
