Erectile Functionality Ain't What It Used To Be
What this means for life and death? What helps besides viagra?
More and more males in their 20’s and 30’s are complaining of having “less hard” and “less enjoyable” erections.
When I was young we referred to the male member getting “hard” as a “woody”. It was called this as erections got hard, like wood.
Many younger males, not just seniors, are bemoaning “twigs” versus wood.
What’s up? Or wants to be UP but may be laying too down on the “job”?
And realize, this information is not just about sex and orgasms. This is about health. And mortality.
Erectile dysfunction in young patients is a sign of overall men's health status.
Erectile dysfunction suggests circulatory problems. Circulation is life. Poor erections suggest poor circulation or life force becoming less and less.
This link between penile capability and overall health is so well established, this is the actual title of a peer review article on this published by an Italian urology unit (Erectile dysfunction in young patients is a proxy of overall men's health status).
This Milan urology/oncology unit writes in their abstract (summary):
Erectile dysfunction has been historically associated to increased cardiovascular risk and mortality. Several studies supported the role of erectile dysfunction as a predictive factor of subsequent cardiovascular events, acquiring significant importance even in young men.
Summary: Erectile dysfunction does not represent an uncommon condition among young men. Considering the amount of data demonstrating a strong correlation between several life-risky co-morbidities and erectile dysfunction, a careful and comprehensive general health assessment of patients complaining of erectile dysfunction should be carried out, regardless of patient's age.
