I was having my fav asian veggies at my fav asian restaurant. Where I usually buy enough food for several days. Minus MSG. They call out your number with a microphone. This is where most of the Asians eat. I have become friends with the owners and so appreciate them.

The gentleman next to me was talking about cognitive dissonance to his friend. He was explaining to his friend he was eating with, that cognitive dissonance is when people are faced with new information that is correct, but they can’t let go of their old thinking, even in the face of finding out it is incorrect.

Due to fear. Due to the difficulty of changing perspectives. Due to great marketing.

This got me thinking.
