If you have followed me for a while you know about my passion for fermented foods. Fermented foods protect biomes even better than plain healthy food choices. It is important to add fermented foods to your menu: yogurt, pickles, kimchi, umeboshi, miso, and on and on.
Recently I took some miso and added some hot water, put in half a teaspoon of garlic granules, and a teaspoon of dried organic parsley (which is super high in flavonoids that protects our hormones and especially our breast and prostate tissues - I have a goal of 1 bottle of dried parsley a month), some corn kernels and diced up some dandelion greens and just stuck it in there and made an immediate soup!
With miso, you get a double benefit. You get fermented foods along with soy isoflavones. Soy isoflavones protect against any hormonally driven cancer and soy is a perfect protein. Often, when soy is fermented, many people who are reactive to soy are no longer reactive because the fermenting process reduces the pro-reactive proteins.
Fermented foods bring down pro-inflammatory cytokines like interleukin 6!
So, my “soup” is a quick, easy and delicious way to enjoy the benefits of fermented foods - I especially like enjoying my miso soup while watching some Netflix in the evening.

Great idea. Thanks much!
Wow, great recipe, and easy. Easy is also crucial to making it happen.
