No more piriformis cramping. Which made, as I wrote earlier this AM, last night miserable.
Dr. Holly wrote back she actually also learned that great finger cot technique in osteopathic college. Wow. There is a god.
But all good.
So was able to go on and enjoy a huge deep workout. When hardly anybody else was yet at the gym.
I mainly listen to podcasts. Listened and relistened to the amazing Dr. Jen Simmons.
I am going to get her new Q-T breast imaging in Phoenix next year.
Just this morning Dr. Holly and hopefully also Jill are all plotting to have a girl’s imaging and play weekend.
Maybe the amazing and dear to me, Jenn the NP, I’m growing so much to love, with come, too.
Ponder about doing that with your girlfriends. Making safety and fun a mixture!
Was at the gym so early hardly anyone was there but two regular guys. Who lovingly refer to me as the gym’s Lady Gaga. Ha.

It was a salad of baby romaine leaves, red leaf lettuce, cooked broccolini on top left over from dinner (huge amount of bioavailable minerals more than regular broccoli), pistachios, small cut-up smoked goat cheese bits, yum, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, coconut aminos, onion granules, salt, pepper, avocado oil. DOUBLE YUM.
All organic of course.
While making this meal, munched on half a GF bagel toasted with pistachio/walnut butter on top. I order this online.
I try to get food items in glass jars. But my fave nut butter comes in plastic, darn.
It’s called nutty gourmet “Pistachio Walnut” Butter.
Both nuts, in studies like the nurse’s study, clearly help reduce recurrence of breast cancer.
I eat to try to make my “Remission, My Mission”.
I will try to reach out to the company to get this product perhaps sold in glass.
Our comments matter.
At my local Whole Foods the chicken and turkey etc. was coming in shrink wrapped plastic.
Ugh.
Shrunk wrapped food is filled with damaging to your hormones and inflammatory control with microplastics.
Food wrapped but not shrunk wrapped, is much less that way.
I commented all the way up to upper management. I didn’t let up.
Finally they kindly only wrap the meat in plastic, but no longer shrink-wrapped plastic.
Buying expensive “healthy” meats from farmer’s market folks but it’s shrunk wrapped, defeats the healthy intentions.

We all learn and change together.
Typical breakfasts of cereal are mostly unhealthy and highly processed carbs.
You can eat a regular meal for a breakfast meal.
We are what we eat.
And what we absorb.
And perhaps even what we do with all that nourishment.
The world today seems more and more ungracious.
Yet honestly many of us, even though inflation is real, have much more than many other humans on this chaotic planet.
My intention is to be gracious and giving and part of the solution.
But as a friend said recently, it’s very hard to be compassionate if we ourselves are in pain or inflamed.
As too many are.
Getting rid of pain and inflammation begins with movement, to rinse out toxins.
And then eating in a way to support our cells and our ability to get rid of toxins. While not putting more in.
I can have one product in plastic.
We don’t have to be perfect.
Perfection is stressful and inflammation promoting.
Be disciplined most of the time.
Enjoy yourself to the heavens some of the time.
Make your life make you smile.
If you aren’t and are constantly complaining and unhappy and scared, that is a recipe for disaster.
Be gentle with yourself.
But be smart.
And healthy food and working out, over time when you develop these muscles, becomes darn right delicious and fun.
But most importantly, it works!
I am one month away from a birthday that by now you all know what that is!
Eating and moving and larger tools bags along with gracious loving of oneself and others - are the best anti-aging tools we have.
Off to get the car washed.
Supposed to rain tomorrow so need new windshield wipers.
Take a moment today to remind all of your cells - all the gifts you have in your life - and all of the ways today is a gift in itself.

Sigh...I wish there was a way to make broccolini less stringy! And wish I wanted greens for breakfast but I can't digest them anyway. it's a challenge. Steamed bok choy and asparagus maybe. Hmmm.
