Giving iodine replacement to “treat” iodine deficiency, was actually one of the first prescriptive “starts” of medicine.

In 1600 BC seaweed was used to treat goiters. But did you know that due to ocean pollution, today’s seaweed contains very little iodine?

Iodine is a powerful but greatly misunderstood trace mineral.

We need it to make thyroid hormone, but it’s actions are much more far-reaching and protective than even that.
