Cardiorespiratory fitness. The bomb.

Cardiorespiratory fitness is how well you can oxygenate your body (circulation is life) while having all your organs act in a coordinated concerted effort to propel you forward. Into your best life.

Cardiorespiratory fitness, measured by maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max), is related to functional capacity and human performance.

Cardiorespiratory fitness is a strong and independent predictor of all-cause and disease-specific mortality.

The better your cardiorespiratory fitness, the slower you age. End of story.

This fitness with using oxygen is your umph to go through tough times and come out the other end, not worse. But the same or better.

A big part of health is regularly “pushing” oneself to really get “pink in the face” (in a sane manner). It means exerting your body.

Cardiorespiratory fitness might also be referred to as enhancing your VO2 MAX.

Oxygen is life.

Vo2 MAX is how well you and oxygen get along. Have a relationship. Work together.
