Slow moving this AM.
Spent yesterday full ON… saying “Good-bye to 2023”.
First: my given (except for this AM, ha) the beloved GYM.
Then Lindsey-mobiled over to the Asher hotel.
Enjoyed an almost 4-hour marathon explorative fireside chat with the gorgeous Susan Bratton.
Then time to get ready for the gala. Wasn’t sure what to expect.
Instructions were: “Show up in Bling!” Oh yes, and we invited an “alternative” community. Had to go to Wikepedia. Look that up.
But was a joke.
This turned out to be a party, party and not an… “other” party. But wasn’t sure what I should wear, a chastity belt?
Turns out it was a group of authentic entrepreneurial hard working smart folks, many docs, all intent on healthy living, bio-hacking and anti-aging.
And… having LOTS OF FUN!
Many were in their 30’s and 40’s. Not all. But I was the granny, there.
They were amazing to me. They embraced with full belly to belly hugs and said my work and results were part of what they were looking to achieve. Very heart-felt.
Was so glad I took the risk and went over their. By my lonesome.
Susan Bratton: amazing 62-year old intimacy goddess.
Dave Asprey of Bullet Proof, who is now DaveAsprey.com “The Father of Biohacking” and the host of this gala. I’m a huge fan.
Little ole Dr. B.
There is the breast cancer surgeon I had on my podcast (Dr. M. Whitfield) and the amazing OBGYN Dr. Anna Cabeca. Another pic of me and Dr. C below.
I met a number of folks I had interviewed but never met in person. So cool.
Met some docs from New Mexico that been hearing about for years and so wanted to meet. We hugged and hugged and made plans for more gatherings.
Lots of hugs! Smile. Smile.
Here is the amazing Dr. Robyn Benson. We share patients and friends. She gave an invite to her “Santa Fe Eden” for a party in May!
(There is a god and life is not over at 75!)
Here is the professional pole dancer. Amazing athlete plus mesmerizing to watch. Enjoyed two shows that went throughout the evening.
The regular folks, most here were in amazing shape as into “health” and “anti-aging” - so they didn’t do so badly themselves, giving the pole a try.
Impressive actually.
If I just didn’t recently have those two herniated discs, would have been on that pole giving it a try, too.
Here’s the regular folks giving the pole a try.
Gave the Lyft driver home a huge tip for her first 2024 fare on the way back.
Crawled into bed, won’t admit when, but took much of today to open this darn computer.
Graciousness has such a healing energy. Grateful for all that “gracious”!
2024 holds promise.
Let’s help make it a harmonious, gracious year as much as possible.
All my “pooped” love.
Dr. B.
PS: Thank you Dave Asprey!
PPS: Risk going to something, doing something, that is a stretch, even if you are solo, as it just may be a string of moments you’d never want to forget.
What a great way to bring in a new year! Risks are so worth the experience and the people one meets in the process of being vulnerable.
What an amazing event, and amazing people!!!!
