The following recipe was inspired by the generous and tasty gift of grass and love-fed rib eye that John and Jean stuffed into my freezer that up till then had been filled only with raw nuts!
Grass-Fed Rib Eye for Two
Ingredients:
• Forks (ha!)
• Granulated garlic
• Dehydrated roasted onion flakes
• Sea Salt
• Pepper Corns
• Olive Oil
• Balsamic vinegar
• Cabernet wine
• Cayenne Pepper (optional) The more you use of this, the more “bite” this meat has, which is a great mix in the flavors IF you like spicy.
Directions:
Put two rib eyes in oven okay ceramic several-inch deep dish.
Fork, take a fork and make holes generously on one side.
Pour over olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and red wine,
Drench the meat.
Shake out onions and all herbs and grind fresh pepper over steaks,
Turn over and do the same.
Repeat on each side twice, with fork holes, a tad more olive oil, and herbs.
Broil on both sides till deliciously pink in the middle. This is so wildly tasty… you might orgasm. The onions merge with the other liquids and take you to the moon.
The onions are a must for flavor!
Note: If you cannot eat onions try chives or shredded green onions (if you are on a Low Fod MAP diet or onions are a “reactive” food then often the green onion is okay.)
If that won’t work, forget it.
Or…. try shredded carrots and or/potato skins, grated, raw, into small pieces, and let them cook in the juices, as an alternative.
Let me know what you think when you try this.
I just saw this...I love steak...a good ole' Kansas girl at heart. This recipe looks delish and am gonna give a shot!
yum. Love me a good Rib Eye
