In Safe Hormones, Smart Women, I put chapters in the back of the book on how various nutrients, and other hormones, like melatonin, influence estrogen and other hormone levels. And keep their signals safer.

You can learn a lot by reading those sections.

Of course new information keeps coming out.

We now know that estrogen has many receptors.

One of them is the new “non-genomic” G protein estrogen receptor called GPER or GPER30.

There are many estrogen receptors.

The best known were the first two, and now this third.

Estrogen Receptor Alpha (ER alpha) is the first, so named alpha. It signals mostly “growth”.

This is where folks got all fearful of estrogen.

As cancer is growth-out-of-control.
