Lot’s of folks are losing weight on the new weight loss meds ever since June 2021 when the FDA approved Wegovy (semaglutide) injection (2.4 mg once weekly) for chronic weight management in adults with obesity or overweight. Who also had at least one weight-related condition (such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol), for use in addition to a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity.
These meds are made in Europe but I have recently heard that they are NOT approved for weight loss in Europe. Though I have not fact checked that. Anyone else know?
Many say these weight loss meds have been a huge and amazing and welcome game changer in their lives.
But some are getting mild to extreme side effects.
