So this has been a bad car month for me.
Not that I drive that much. I Lyft and Uber alot as Austin has gotten more and more like Houston.
The 183 highway that used to connect me to most of the city and to the airport, was a two land road most of my time in the “Keep Austin Weird” city.
One side going north. The other side going south.
For years.
This last year 183 became 6 lanes on each side with overpasses, underpasses, toll lanes and construction as far as the eye can see.
I got into my car one day driving home from the airport and didn’t know where the heck I was. That was scary.
A few weeks ago, had a fender bender in my own long, curving driveway. My friend had parked her car overlapping with my driveway entrance into the cul-de-sac, and not realizing she was there, my car rammed into hers.
Just had my car and hers both fixed. Out of insurance as I could get a local guy to do it a tad over deductible.
Thus, been driving extra carefully. As one tends to do after paying for lapses in awareness.
Recently, I shared the British protocol of mammograms every 3 years for those 50 years of age and older. And, also, 3 years out from breast cancer.
Thus, I do one year mammogram, one year Herscan.com, and one year regular ultra sound. With lots of soap/shower personal palpation in between.
Breast owners should know their own breasts.
All’s been good for years.
This last month, for the first time, noticed some tissue changes. Some tenderness.
