I am most interested in helping my daughter, 53, who has had 3 difference cancers (2 at an early age Hodgkins Lymphoma; Ocular Melanoma) and 1 more recently (breast HR ESTROGEN AND PROGESTERONE Positive cancer; she opted for double mastectomy because of her history). She is in menopause and on low dose bio ID hormones working with a very knowledge GYN and She read your recent article on hormones and has this question: PLEASE TALK ABOUT

EFFICACY OF USING BIO ID HORMONES IF YOU ALREADY HAD BREAST CANCER. Thank you

I have a small ebook on tesotsterone in bc survivors, this has the most peer review on it. It is called hormones for breast cancer survivors at drlindseyberkson.com in the store. she should get my 2 MEO webinar at the store too as sounds like tumor suppressor gene issues which 2 MEO reboots. Put 2 methyoxyestradiol into pubmed.gov

I have an ebook addressing this called Estrogen Vindication at my web site drlindseyberkson.com and a chapter on hormones and bc in my book Safe Hormones, Smart women. good luck. There is a lot to do consider being a patient at Naple's Center for Functional Medicine, and hope all goes well.

Thank you for clarifying about the progestins studied being synthetic. I read the study and was alarmed and confused by that. Given that the study was positive for low doses of oral E2, does oral at low doses (for example, .5 mg) still cause you concern? I'm reading your book, Sexy Brain and have started listening to your podcasts from the start. I really resonate with you and just turning 60, haven't found a practitioner who is older than me, who I want to be like - until now (I want to have what you are having, haha). It's too late to get to the level of education you have but I do love how youthful and vibrant you are. I feel youthful and vibrant at 60 and want to keep up that trend. As a nutritional therapy practitioner, I want to continue to learn and apply what I learn from people like you to myself and to my clients. I can't prescribe so I need to educate myself enough and collect the data to share with my clients so they can go ask for the right type of hormone support. Thank you for your work and for being an agile thinker. I'm thinking about joining your pro group! p.s. Have you considered audio versions of your books? I find that so many of my clients don't want to read books these days especially when they first come to me all brain foggy. I do send them to podcasts though!

T is the forgotten and misunderstood hormone, too. Not just E2.
