If your hormone therapies (whatever they may be) are working for you, then:
Your thinking should be clear, with fewer and fewer missing words or names.
Your energy should be sustained most of the day without “crashes” or severe dips in energy.
You should sleep through the night most of the time without waking up to pee more than once an evening.
Your breast tissue isn’t sore.
Your libido is enjoyable.
Your vagina isn’t shut down for business, should you care to still be working.
You build muscle in response to exercise.
Your mid-torso weight is getting more under control.
When you get ill, you bounce back to your old self, or even better, you don’t stay worse.
Your serum FSH is <20 mIU/mL.
Your inflammatory markers, such as CRP and IL-6, should be in normal ranges.
How are your hormones?
Dr. B.
Thanks! I didn't realize FSH could be used to monitor BHRT in menopause, thought that feedback system waned...helps me evaluate my dose.
I'm a guy Dr. B, but even your speaking to only ladies in this letter it is obvious that you not only deeply care but leave out no details when it comes to bio identical hormones.
So much detail that I had to go look up what you are talking about!
I'm envious not to have you as my scientist - physician!
Shalom Aleichem !
