The brutal rudeness that has seized the American public has got to be softened somehow. It's a huge job and not just a president can do it alone. Parents are important in this scenario and i think somehow they are lost as well. Something is wrong when they put their babies on Instagram for doing what babies do and think it's a big deal. One thing to love your child but another to expect praise/approval for everyday activity. In addition, I see toddlers telling off their parents with language and body postures that indicate they learned this way of being from their parents. Something is very wrong here, and I am clueless as to what to do. We need another Mr Rogers.
As for sushi!! I live close to a premier sushi place, and now i have to rethink that also!
Yes & yes & yes. I did escape from communist country of Czechoslovakia (where my father was political prisoner under tyrannical communist government in 1948 for 6 years) in 1987 with 2 kids 6,11 years of age. We spend 1 year in refugee camp in Austria -Traiskierchen, going through refugee system to get granted alien # and permission to enter the USA. When we land in USA no english at all, no money, just each of us with little suitcase with clothes. But free, the opportunity for us was there to succeed….
We did learn language, I worked hard, few jobs together for years. We did it without any help. Thanks for that, in America you can do it.
We started our lives in country with freedom, law & order. My kids were good students with “A” in all years in schools. Both of them do have very good jobs, important job with so much responsibility.
But since we came to USA and became Americans by choice, in our America so much change, unfortunately. No law, no order, less & less freedom. The corruption, censorship ……system is broken!
The communism that we escaped from just 3 decades ago is following us here in America. Very sad and alarming to see how much America changed for the worst! We all do have big job to do, bring America to what it used to was, like we
always did see America like that old good grandma who knows the best!!! Good luck to all, who have this country in their thoughts for better tomorrows. 🇺🇸
Thank you. May peace, respect and kindness be in all our minds and hearts as we move forward. And Mr. Rogers is my favorite, such a loving, gentle man. :)

Yes, cultural healing. It may sound like cowardice but I am moving to Sardinia. I just got back and the people were very kind.
