Brita is a joke but a test of affordable pitcher filtration system by Project Farm on YT showed that out of 5 or 6 water filters tested, ZeroWater brand found on Amazon etc fared the very best results
Well I agree, but for what the Zero costs vs the metal Berkey etc you will have to spend far more $$$ to get the results you seek or get whole house filters / reverse osmosis which also is costly.
It's $49.00 I bought another one yesterday the price has NOT gone up with inflation so not sure why you would say that. 50 bucks for a great filter for half a year does not seem pricey to me. dlb warm regards.
there are no glass ones darn it. most water pipes are plastic. oil presses for organic olive oil are plastic. so hard to avoid plastic. i don't know about water pitchers if anyone else does please let us know. dlb
Yes, there is so much plastic everywhere which is why limiting it when you can should be done. I don’t know of any glass pitcher filtration systems only plastic. Berkey has stainless steel filtration systems that sit on the countertop. They have gotten good reviews.
Great article! Is there a water pitcher filtration system you would recommend?

Yes, I’ve tried the ZeroWater brand but the filter only lasted a few weeks and started smelling terrible. Also the pitcher is made out of plastic.

Yes, that’s true but once you make the initial purchase the Berkey is a superior water filtration system. It is expensive though.
