Recently I was interviewed by the amazing Marcelle Pick for her podcast: Women to Women: Hormones, Adrenals, Weight & Trauma. I am thrilled to share with you the podcast episode where I had the pleasure of being her guest sharing with her listeners all about hormones.
Thank you for a really interesting discussion on the benefits of HRT. I just started taking estradiol. 15 years ago I had a full hysterectomy. Wish my doctors would have recommended it years ago. Not sure if I should be on any other hormones. I already have osteopenia and other health issues related to low hormone levels (e.g., sagging skin).
I hear soy is also good for preventing breast cancer.
Great podcast! I’m interested in this “hormone window.” I started late.., a few years ago, but will not stop because I can feel and see a difference. Doctors and friends who are nurses, don’t want to know that we can start later and continue HRT as long as we live. Is this correct?
