It was the day after Xmas.Agile Thinking is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. My dental expert was open for emergencies. This lady was in the waiting room as she was a “driver” for her neighbor, a younger woman in her 20’s in a severe amount of tooth pain. This woman had driven her neighbor the 30 miles here to hopefully get out of pain.
Having just played my first Pickleball games ever, and having to squash the muscle memory of my tennis playing years ago, I’m trying to understand how this beautiful lady plays BOTH games regularly. Brain adaptations, no doubt. 😊
The lady you described is Blessed and she knows that. Tomorrow it may change. Maybe she was spared of many stresses the rest of population has to deal with. BUT - as I am 81 i do understand and walk in Gratitude. 40 years ago 80 year olds were giving up their driving license.....It is in Attitude and Gratitude ......
I love it!!
