I cannot think of any health benefits you gain by heating your skin from the inside. If you experience facial tightening, that doesn't mean anything good is happening to your cells. Are you sure you want to do this? I know skin doctors try to sell everything they can, but... One thing we can see is that women who put products on their skin age quickly.

A quick fix can be getting smaller, lighter eyeglasses, so that less downwards pressure goes on your face. And building bone mass, so skin doesn't sag. Face yoga type exercises are a thing I have seen elderly women do successfully -- I remember this one woman was in her 80s, she did face yoga religiously, and her cheekbones and under jaw were superb.

What do you think of Photodynamic Therapy ( Bluelight therapy) for precancer treatment of the face?

This is what my dermotologist recomends. I will ask them about CO2 laser, but don't think they offer it. Skin cancer is my family's cancer of choice and we all have had surgerys. I , too am worried about my face.

Good luck. Hopefully not too painful and you heal quickly. I’ll be looking for your updates and honest opinion when all is said and done.

no pain at all. the IPL that removes brown spots (I have mostly white aging spots, you can be prone to either) but it also evens out skin tones more like when we are younger, was the most painful. i even asked the doc if anyone has ever got up and screamed forget it. but he said no. apparently we all appreciate looking better and feeling safer. ha. much love. dlb

turns out there are many levels of CO2 laser I am going to discuss that today. i think this was not as deep as I would have liked nor worth all the prophylaxis ahead of time. a true deep C02 laser does require more than numbing but I think now there are very very few docs that really do this. will discuss the best doc I think on today's video. i just made a video and it didn't record right so have to do it over again darn it. dlb
