A landmark study revealed that diet alone, WITHOUT MEDS, achieved remission (which means “good-bye” to this serious problem, at least for this “now”) in pediatric patients with active inflammatory bowel disease (IBD – Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease).
i know. the american gastroenterology association this past year had a study that inferred processed food increased risk of colorectal cancer but they said the science is not firm enough yet to talk about this to your patients. yeeech. dlb
So very sad that specialty trained doctors think food is so irrelevant to our gut health. That has always blown my mind. All the years I worked in oncology it was the same. They fed the patients donuts and cake while getting chemo infusions. Sigh. My young niece in her early 30's was scheduled for a colostomy. She insisted on being tested for celiac against the Gastroenterologists guidance. She has celiac and did not end up with a colostomy. The doctor apologized.
Always such great info!!!! TY TY TY !!! :)
Love,

Thanks so much. I love this and love, also, responses. warmly dlb
Thankyou for sharing your thoughts and evidence on this matter. It is shocking that so many do not see it. Rgds, S
